What is good soil? For us it is good people. We are blessed to be in a position where we don't have to take any risk with what we have to survive. We can choose our partners carefully. We look for people that are aligned with our values, people with great ideas, and a high level of integrity and honesty. Deals don't always go well, so if we're going to be in the trenches, we want to be in them with the right people.

Our Portfolio
Aside from arenas that conflict with our moral compass, we're open to a wide range of investments. We love industry, consumer goods, and real estate. If we can touch it, feel it, look at it, we like it. We especially like essential industries like energy.
In our portfolio, you'll find real estate companies, private equity, direct and co-invests. We don't have a particular scale or size of investment; sometimes we're a big investor in a small deal and other times a small one in a big deal. We tend to invest in mid to upper-mid market-sized companies, but we also are happy to take a risk on the right "little guy."
Agile Partnering
We are not constrained by investing mandates and can jump into any sector that fits our interests. We don't carry the bureaucracy of a bank and can make decisions quickly. We also can be flexible and creative in how we structure capital deployments to fit different situations or needs, at all levels of the capital stack – from equity to debt.
